This year’s Fierte Festival embraced the theme “Better Together”, celebrating the arts as a powerful way to foster a sense of belonging within our communities.

We enjoyed a fantastic week of creative activities and collaboration, working alongside students and staff from both Paulet High School and The Robert Sutton School. These partnerships provided our children with exciting opportunities to explore a range of artistic experiences. It was especially wonderful to welcome back former Violet Way pupils, who supported and inspired our children throughout the week.

The activities included clay modelling and Pop Art workshops, which encouraged creativity while reflecting and reinforcing our school values. Our children embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, confidence, and curiosity, thoroughly enjoying the chance to learn new skills and express themselves in different ways.

The celebrations also included a lively Drop and Dance session, kindly organised by our Nursery staff, as well as opportunities for children to create and perform as a band during their music lessons.

The week provided valuable time for children to immerse themselves in a wide range of creative arts, allowing them to develop their talents, build confidence, and thrive in an environment that celebrated imagination, collaboration, and community. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and the outstanding creativity they demonstrated throughout the festival.
